Yes, it's true - loads of small businesses out there are wasting 90% of their marketing budgets.

The simple reason is failing to follow up leads.

Say you've just done a marketing drive and out of 100 people contacted 10 people buy your product. Fantastic! But what do you do with the other 90?

Many companies are too busy to chase them up and simply move onto the next marketing campaign. But the problem is people will only buy when they're ready to buy, not when you're ready to sell. Follow up has always been a weak link in the sales process. I was a Truck sales manager for a number of years in the 1980's & 1990's. We didn't have the internet as a tool and every lead required talephone follow-up.
Keep up the good advise.
