Promote Your Web Site By Piggy-Backing By Sally Ormond of Briar Copywriting Promoting your web site on line through article marketing and blogging is a great way to achieve success. It is how I have built the reputation of my freelance copywriter business. But I have discovered a way to increase the effectiveness of this method of promotion - by piggy-backing other people's web sites. Now that isn't as strange as it sounds. All you have to do is set up an srticle, blog or video and then use one of the social media sites to help with its promotion such as Digg, Stumbleupon etc. It really works. As an experiment I produced a video about my copywriting services(which can be seen in the side bar of my blog). I listed it on YouTube and then put that link on Digg refering to my chosen key words. The result? Well I did all of this 8pm one evening and by the morning it was on the front page of Google for my chosen key phrase 'suffolk freelance copywriter'. How great is that?
